However, you’re using the API for validator rewards. I took a look through the Helium docs, and it seems that validator rewards come from issuance, not from fees:

(Sidenote, it could be interesting to add HNT to the issuance collection)

From the transaction fees part of the documentation, it seems that transaction fees burn HNT, instead of distributing them to validators.
