Currently, the Ethereum adapter only returns normal transaction fees paid from users to miners.
However, @ultrasoundmoney reached out to me asking whether Flashbots data is included in this fee.
According to https://dashboard.flashbots.net/miners, Flashbots alone paid $760,524 in fees in the last 24 hours, which is over double Bitcoin’s fees yesterday ($391,772).
So here’s an open question to the community: should Flashbot fees be included in the Ethereum adapter? Should they be a separate “bundled” adapter? Or not included all-together?
- Include Flashbots as part of the Ethereum fees
- Don’t include Flashbots
