Net Issuance

We already have an “issuance” collection:

Token Issuance

This is a couple weeks delayed, but I we’ve launched a new collection for token issuance (https://cryptostats.community/discover/issuance) as well as https://moneyprinter.info for displaying issuance data. We’re currently only showing net issuance, although there have been a number of requests for net issuance (which would factor in things like token burns).

This metric tracks the total issuance of new tokens on various blockchains and DeFi protocols.

However, it would be important to augment this data with net issuance, which would be the issuance minus any burn.

Notable blockchains with token burns are:

• Ethereum (EIP-1559)
• Solana (all fees are burned)
• Avalanche
• Filecoin (uses something similar to EIP-1559)

Would be also good to include DeFi protocols with burns, like MakerDAO. Even something like CRV could be interesting, since “prepetural locks” are effectively burns (this might be a bit of a stretch).
